- For use over traditional chalk gesso ground.
- Bole needs to be applied with rabbit skin glue solution.
- Black Bole is usually used under Silver Leaf or White Gold.
- The stark contrasting black creates a deep surface to maximize the cool nature of the Silver Leaf and White Gold.
- When burnished, the rich creamy bole gives the leaf a lustrous shine.
